Julie Bornstein was the Democratic nominee in the 2008 congressional elections for the 45th Congressional District (map) of California. She is the Democratic nominee seeking to challenge incumbent Rep. Mary Bono (R-Calif.). She won in primary elections which took place on June 3, 2008, but lost to Bono in the November general election.[1]
